Write a letter
Write about what the music means in your everyday life and ask another fan about theirs.
Make a friend
After accepting a letter, keep exchanging listening stories from your island. A song might remind you of a place or a moment you can tell your new friend about.
What to write about
Start a fan letter with a listening memory or a question about music; your pen pal does not need to have the same favourites.
- Describe a song you keep replaying and the mood it fits.
- Tell a fellow fan how you first found the music.
- Share a concert memory, including a performance you streamed at home.
- Describe a dance you tried learning and the part you found tricky.
- Explain how your listening habits have changed since you became a fan.

Is this an official BTS app?
No. Sea Pals isn’t connected with BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC or HYBE, or with any other artist. It’s a place to write to other fans.
Will my letter go to Korea?
Shared interests and languages can help you meet Korean pen pals. You cannot choose a country or a particular person.
Can I share my Instagram or X?
Social handles and links can’t go in letters to someone new.
Is it safe for teens?
Teens 13–17 only meet other teens, subject to country minimum ages.
