BTS concert tips for the 2026–27 world tour
For a first BTS concert, use only official ticket channels, check the venue's rules and plan your journey home before you go. If you cannot attend, listen together at home or watch an official stream if one is offered. A pen pal letter can share either the concert you remember or the songs you dream of hearing live.
Before the show: tickets, venue rules and getting home
BTS's world tour began in April 2026 and runs into 2027. Check BTS's official channels for current dates and use only the ticket sellers they list. Avoid unofficial resale and anyone in DMs offering tickets. A screenshot does not prove a ticket is valid; do not send money or personal details to a stranger.
Read the venue's bag and camera rules before packing. Check your ticket's entry instructions too: do not assume a screenshot will work at the gate. Never post your ticket or its code online.
Plan the trip home before you leave. Check the last public transport service and a backup route. Save the route to read without a connection, and keep phone charge for afterwards.
- Start from BTS's official channels, then follow the listed ticket seller's instructions.
- Check the venue's entry, bag, camera and water rules for your show.
- Choose a route home and a backup before the concert begins.
First-concert tips: stay comfortable and enjoy the music
Arrive early enough for entry checks, finding your place and getting water. Wear comfortable shoes you have already walked in. Charge your phone, and check whether the venue permits a power bank or refillable bottle. Bring ear protection and use it during the show.
A fanchant is a pattern of words fans call out together at particular moments in a song. Learn the fanchants beforehand if you would enjoy joining in, but you do not have to know every part.
Be kind to the people around you. Keep aisles clear, stay in your own space and avoid holding a phone in someone else's view. Follow staff instructions. Put your phone down for a song or two to watch without framing a screen.
- Drink water regularly, using the options the venue allows.
- If you feel overwhelmed or unwell, ask venue staff for help.
- Follow the recording rules and ask before taking a photo of another fan.
Going alone, safely
If you go alone, tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to return. Agree on a check-in after the show. Stay in busy public areas and ask identifiable venue staff for help if you feel unsafe.
Do not share your live location, hotel room number or accommodation with people you met online. Do not invite an online acquaintance to your room or accept an invitation to theirs. Being ARMY does not make a stranger someone you know. A friendly conversation in the queue does not require personal details.
Teens should go with a parent or trusted adult. Check the venue's age and accompaniment rules; an online friend is not a substitute. If somebody pressures you to leave or keep a plan secret, stay with your trusted adult or ask staff for help.
Can't go? Enjoy the music from home
Choose something that fits your time and budget instead of feeling you have to buy a ticket.
Listen to the setlist songs with a friend at the same time, using music you can both access legally. Across time zones, agree on a time that suits you both. Ask about setlist spoilers before sharing a playlist.
Have a small watch party at home if an official stream is offered. Check the announcement and viewing rules; do not assume every show will have a stream. Write a letter about songs you would most want to hear, or take a four-cut booth strip with friends. Try the free Sea Pals booth linked below.
Share a concert memory or a wish with a pen pal
Write to another BTS fan about a concert you went to or one you dream of. Pick a small detail: the crowd singing, a song that changed your mood, or what you would love to hear live. Ask an easy question so your pen pal can share their story.
Leave out seat details, travel plans and accommodation. Share the feeling rather than your location. If your pen pal could not go, ask about favourite songs without comparing tickets or spending. This English letter has a Korean translation.
Hello! I have been listening to BTS and imagining hearing my favourite songs live. I would love to sing along with the crowd. Is there a song you would most want to hear at a concert? I would love to hear your story when you have time. Momo
How Sea Pals helps fans write to each other
Choose K-pop as an interest in Sea Pals and write about a song you would love to hear live; Mochi carries your letter to people with shared interests.
